Day 01:Kathmandu drive bus to Jiri (1935m)

Guide from ‘Top Of The World Adventure’ for 23 days trekking in Nepal will pick you up from the hotel early morning to go Old Bus Park to catch the bus for Jiri. Although Jiri is only 190 km away from Kathmandu, the trip will take us still around 7/8 hrs.Overnight at Teahouse

Day 02:Trek to Bhandar(2180m)

Starting the 23 days of trekking in Nepal of EBC we start our trek with the paved road in Jiri. After crossing a stream the track leaves the road and starts to climb uphill through trees to several wooden bhattis.We keep climbing to the Mali Danda (2440m) and continue our way to the crossing of suspension bridge of the Yelung Khola river at 1800m,reaching  Shivalaya,taking approximately 4 hrs,we will have lunch here.From Shivalaya,at first steep ascent towards the pass at Deorali (2710m).Then overnight at Deorali.

Day 03:Trek to Sete (2525m)

From Bhandar the trail descents through the lower fields of the village, passing the small settlements of Doharpa and Baranda before crossing the Tharo Khola River on a steel bridge at 1480m. As we follow the east bank of the river we climb towards Kinja (1630m), towards Chimbu and continue on towards Sete where we will spend the night at Teahouse.

Day 04:Trek to Junbesi (2700m)

Today 4th day of 23 days of trekking in Nepal starts by climbing from Sete to the top of the 3535m high Lamjura Bhanjyang.Lamjura Bhanjyang is the highest point on the trek between Jiri & Namche Bazaar & is marked by a tangle of stones, kindling & prayer flags. On the eastern side of the pass the route descents steeply for about 400m through fragrant fir & hemlock forests, then levels out passing the small village of Tragdobuk (2830m). Continuing our way down we will enter in Junbesi,and stay overnight at Teahouse with stories of the journey by our agent of ‘Top Of The World Adventure’.

Day 05:Trek to Nhuntala (2330m)

After leaving Junbesi in the morning we cross the Junbesi Khola river and then climb steeply uphill, here we have excellent views of Everest, Thamserku, Kantega  and Mera Peak. After passing the Ringmo Khola river, the trail ascends to Ringmo village, with its abundant fruit orchards.We now descent through forests of conifer and rhododendron, passing sheepherds huts & alongside the trail until we reach our next destination of 23 days of trek at Nhuntala.Then stay overnight at Teahouse

Day 06:Trek to Bupsa(2360m)

From Nhuntala the trek continues to the Dudh Kosi (Milk River) and cross this river using a 110m long suspension bridge (1500m). We continue to climb up a ridge to a Sherpa village named Khari Khola (2010m). Beyond this village we climb past some water driven mills to Bupsa. Overnight at Teahouse

Day 07:Trek to Chheplung(2660m)

Our trek will start with a gentle climb, passing the village of Kharte & continues on through forests populated by monkeys.We keep climbing the rim till we reach the teashop on Khari La pass at 2840m. From the pass, the trail  downhill  into the deep gorge of Paiya Khola. After crossing this river on a wooden bridge we reach the small settlement of Puiyan (2730m). The trail climbs up and down for about an hour after Paiya to a rim that offers a good view of the Khumbu region and then descents 500m towards Surke (2290m). Continuing our trail upwards again, we climb through a jumble of boulders, passing some wonderful mani walls until we reach the village of Chablung.Overnight at Teahouse

Day 08:Trek to Namche Bazaar(3440m)

After leaving Chablung ‘Top Of The World Adventure’ guy we will cross the Tharo Kosi (2580m)river on a local-style suspension overpass & climb to Phakding. From Phakding we climb steeply over a stony rim towards Benkar (2630m). From here we climb out of the valley to Monjo (2840m). Just away from Monjo the trek enters the Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park, which was well-known in 1976 to guard a 1148 sq km area surrounding Mt Everest.After this while climbing our way up the valley we will reach Namche Bazaar (3440m). Namche Bazaar is the main trading centre in this region & features numerous shops, hotels and restaurants.

Day 09:Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar

Acclimatization is important before proceeding higher. Today we will rest or take a day hike through the villages of Khunde and Khumjung. We start with a steep one-hour climb to the Syangboche airport (3720m),from where we will slowly ascent towards Khunde passing numerous chorten (stone Buddhist monuments). From Khunde we follow the trail eastwards to Khumjung, the largest village in Khumbu, at the foot of the sacred peak Khumbila. After enjoying lunch here we will follow some ascent and continue descending trail to Namche Bazaar.

Day 10:   Trek from Namche Bazaar to Thame Village 3825m 

Trek starts after breakfast in Namche and trails follows colorful prayer flags, with several shorten and Mani stones from Namche Gompa. The agent of ‘Top Of The World Adventure’ will take you to Thame which is a small monastery village, situated at the altitude of 3825m and the birth place of ten zing Norgay Sherpa first man to reach Everest summit with Edmund Hillary.

Day 11:   Trek from Thame to Lung den (4500m)

After morning breakfast trail leads you to Lung den village which is the 6th day of 23 days of trek in Nepal, the village of Lung den is only one settlement before cross Renjola pass. Keep continue your journey up to Lung den village. Overnight at Lung den.

Day 12:   Trek from Lung den to Gokyo Lakes via (4500m) Renjo La Pass (5335m)

After having breakfast in Lung den. Trail slightly leads to Renjola pass and renjola pass is one of the easiest pass in the Khumbu Himalaya compare to others pass Chola and Congmala. Whole trail is zigzag with sandy ridges and arrive in Gokyo lakes overnight at guesthouse.

Day 13:   Explore the Gokyo Lake.

‘Top Of The World Adventure’ guy will lead the trek to Gokyo Peak which start early in the morning. The summit offers the extravagant vista of Cho You, Everest, Lhotse and Makalu. While climbing down you can enjoy the view of Gokyo Lake. Overnight at teahouse.

Day 14:   Trek from Gokyo lakes to Dzongla (5330m).

Initially walk downhill to reach Thangna village and have tea or coffee. The trail here from here goes directly to Cho La Pass at (5414m). Cross Cho La and walk down hill to Dzongla village. Today might be the difficult day in trekking,the half journey of 23 days of trek in Nepal.Overnight at teahouse.

Day 15:   Trek from Dzongla to Lobuche (4990m).

After having morning breakfast you will start your trek to Lobuche. On the way you can witness Dzongla Lake, Ama Dablam and Thamserku. Overnight at teahouse.

Day 16:   Trek from Lobuche to Gorkasep (5180m).

Following the rocky moraine path and watching icy glacial pond and icebergs below the Khumbu glacier a short downhill walk after the last rocky moraine dunes bring us to Gorkasep. Gorkasep is located below Kalapathhar (5545m) and Mt Pumori

Day 17:   Trek from Gorkasep to Lobuche (4930m) 2 Hour trek

If you wish to visit Everest base camp (5380m) it will take 6/7 hour round trip from Gorkasep. If you are travelling in April/May there is plenty of fixing tent because of climbing peak season. In the other month there is not great time to see except for view of Khumbu Icefall; there is no view from Everest base camp, if you only have energy for side trip better to climb Kalapathhar. Another two hour walks down hill to Lobuche (4900m) and save energy for following day cross Congmala pass.

Day 18:   Trek from Lobuche to Dingboche (4450m) via Congmala Pass (5535m)

18th day of 23 days of trekking in Nepal starts with breakfast in Lobuche, trail slightly turns to Khumbu Glacier to cross Congmala pass and follow downhill to Sherpa settlement village of Dingboche, today you walk around eight nine hour to Arrive Dingboche. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 19:   Trek from Dingboche to Tengboche (3890m)

After breakfast in Dingboche trail ‘Top Of The World Adventure’ guy leads you through villages, Buddhists monasteries, bridges and some waterfall, Rhododendron forest to arrive Tengboche (3890m) via Orsho, Somare, Pangboche and Debouche Overnight at Tea house.

Day 20:   Trek from Tengboche to Namche Bazaar (3535m)

First part of the trail directly goes through Rhododendron forest and pine forest to Fungethaga. The trail slightly goes uphill to Namche via Trashing and Sanasa village. Great view of the journey of 23 days of trekking in Nepal of Khumbu Himalaya from village of Sanasa.

Day 21:  Trek from Namche to Lukla (2850m)

The trail steeply goes down through Rhododendron and Pine forest to Jorasalle it will take about two hour and another 5 hour walk to Lukla via  Monju, banker, Phakding, Ghats Khola, Chaurikharka, Chheplung and arrival in Lukla and overnight at Guest house.

Day 22:   Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu

Last day of 23 days of trekking in Nepal starts with early morning joyful flight from Lukla to Kathmandu and transfer your Hotel. During the day you will have rest after long journey in the Khumbu Himalaya and Evening fare well dinner with Nepali Family.

Day 23:   Departure for your onward flight.

Today, last day of Trekking in Nepal of Himalayan wonders,and here we are done with our 23 days of journey in Nepal.And then as per your flight timings our staff of ‘Top Of The World Adventure’ transfer you to Kathmandu airport for your international departure homeward bound or to your next port of call.
