About 9 Days Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek
Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) is the most famous trekking trail in Nepal. Annapurna base camp trek is also known as Annapurna sanctuary trek. This trekking is very friendly trekking for beginner trekkers because the maximum elevation on this route is 4130m. Gurung village and culture along the way make you very warm hospitality. You will see the very nice culture and life of the local community on the way. Rhododendron flower along the way makes the route like a queen with ornaments. Everyday trekkers should hike 6/7 hours. Poonhill is the famous attraction on ABC trek. On 3rd day of the normal trekking route, you will get to Poonhill from where you can see amazing views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and other Himalayan ranges. The best view on the Annapurna base camp route is the view of Machhapuchhre mountain. It is also known as Fishtail Mountain. It is a holy mountain in Nepal. Nobody has climbed on Fishtail Mountain yet. Trekkers can stay on ABC teahouse itself. On the way back by the same route you will pass by Jhinudanda. Jhinudanda is very famous for its natural hot springs. The hot spring pond is on the bank of the Modi River. You can bathe on the hot pond and the next day you will get back to Pokhara via Nayapul.
