Bungee Jumping in Nepal FAQs

Bungee jumping in Nepal is designed for thrill-seekers of all experience levels. The jump itself is a short but intense adrenaline rush, and you don’t need any prior experience—just a good spirit and a sense of adventure. Our professional guides ensure safety every step of the way, making it accessible even if you’re new to extreme sports.

Comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes are a must. Avoid loose items like scarves or jewelry that could get lost during the jump. Bring your camera or phone for photos if you want, but make sure to secure them properly or leave them with your group.

The jump is from 160 meters above the Bhotekoshi River, which provides an epic free fall but is not at a high altitude that causes altitude sickness. So, altitude-related health issues are not a concern here.

The Bhotekoshi Bungee Jump site is about a 4-hour bus ride from Kathmandu Valley. The journey itself is scenic and part of the adventure. We arrange all transportation for your convenience.

Safety is our top priority. The equipment used meets international standards, and all jumps are supervised by experienced professionals. You’ll receive a safety briefing and be fitted with secure harnesses to ensure a safe and exhilarating jump.

Generally, anyone in good health and within the weight limits set by the operator can participate. However, if you have heart conditions, back problems, or are pregnant, we advise against jumping. Our team will provide a full briefing and screening before you jump.

Weather can impact the jump, especially heavy rain or strong winds. The best time for Bungee Jumping is generally in the dry seasons when conditions are stable. If weather prevents jumping on your scheduled day, we’ll try to reschedule for you.
