On arrival and post completion of the immigration process you will be met by our representative of TOP OF THE WORLD ADVENTURE near the exit area. Transferred to Thimphu, Capital of Bhutan. The distance of 50km takes 1.5 hours depending on the road conditions and stops is long, spectacular and also rich and diverse with forever changing vegetation. Check in to hotel,we will be going to visit few important places of Thimphu like,

Memorial Chorten: Also known as Thimphu Chorten, this stupa located on Doe Boom Lam is unlike most stupas in the world. The Memorial Chorten does not enshrine human remains but instead represents the mind of the Buddha.

National Library: Your final stop for the day is the National Library and Archives of Bhutan. The library was established in 1967 and has been used to promote and preserve regional culture, ever since. Go through old sacred texts and know more about the rich history of Bhutan.

Buddha Point: The Buddha Dordenma statue in Thimphu at 51.5 metres is among the largest Buddha statues in the world. Located at top of the hill in Kuensel Phodrang Nature Park, the statue is gilded in bronze and gold.

Bhutan Textile Museum: Visit the textile museum located near the National Library as your second sightseeing spot for the day. Established in 2001, the museum sustains and promotes the art of weaving. One can also buy books and textiles from the museum shop.

The small and charming town of Paro lies in the center of the valley at an average elevation of 2280m, on the bank of Pa Chhu River. Paro town was first formed in 1985 with one main street, lined with colorfully painted shops,then you go for local sightseeing of Paro. The following places will be visited in Paro:

1. Paro Dzong (fortress) built in 1646. You will cross a traditional wooden bridge on the way to the Dzong.

2. National Museum (Ta-Dzong) just above Paro Dzong, where we have unique collections of ancient armor, textiles, Thangkha paintings.

3. Dumtshe Lhakhang, built 14th century

4. Kichu Lhakhang is one of the oldest and most sacred shrines of the Kingdom built in 7th century by Tibetan King. Songtsen Gampo to flourish Buddhism in Bhutan.

5. Drukgyel Dzong is known as the fortress of victory, from here that the Bhutanese repelled several Tibetan armies during 17th century. It was built in 1649.
