Drive 45 minutes from Pokhara to Phedi (900 m), the trailhead for the Dhampus trek. The trail climbs steadily through terraced farmland and small stone villages before entering a belt of rhododendron forest. Emerge onto the Dhampus ridge for your first breathtaking encounter with the full Annapurna panorama. Arrive at Dhampus village, check in to your teahouse, and enjoy the afternoon with mountain views and village exploration.

Wake before dawn for the signature Dhampus sunrise — as the first rays of light touch the Annapurna snow peaks, the mountains turn shades of rose, gold, and amber in a spectacle unlike anything you have seen. The afternoon is free for rest, photography, or birdwatching in the surrounding forest.
