About Dhulikhel Hiking

Amazing hike through the beautiful nature of Namobuddha. Dhulkhel is a small beautiful tourist town, located at a height of 1550m, and is away from urban hustle and bustle life.30 km south-west drive from Kathmandu along the Araniko highway, different communities of Newars, Brahmin, Tamang, Chhetris and Dalit live in Dhulikhel. It is a historic town with old houses and temples. Start the hike from Dhulikhel via Goukhushwar Mahadev uphill hike to Kavrekot, Kali Mandir (temple) and reach Namobuddha, then hike down to Panauti. The hike is approximately 20 km and takes 6 hours, the highest point is Nabomuddha (1750m). Glimpses of the Himalayas, Newari village, temples, Gumba and Chaityas are the most attractions of the Dhulikhel Namobuddha hiking. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,264ft)

As soon as your plane hits the tarmac of Tribhuwan International Airport, TOP OF THE WORLD ADVENTURE offices representative and driver will be on standby to meet and greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel for the 4 days hike in Nepal to Namobuddha. The representative will help you check into your designated hotel, and after going to our rooms and refreshing ourselves we will be briefed about our daily activities. The rest of your time is free to move around the neighborhood and get familiar with your surroundings before you go on 4 days adventurous tour in Nepal with TOP OF THE WORLD ADVENTURE.

After an early breakfast, you leave Kathmandu in the morning in Top of the world’s private jeep or land cruiser for Dhulikhel. Pick up at 7:30 am from hotel to Dhulikhel drive, to Dhulikhel (30 kms, 40 minutes)08:00am: Start hiking from Dhulikhel to Namobuddha which will about 3 hours. Lunch will be taken at Namobuddha.01:00pm: Hike down to Panauti which takes 2 and half hours to reach there.04:00pm: Drive back to Kathmandu on same day, from Panuti; it will take 40 minutes to reach Kathmandu.
