Helambu Trek

 After a filling breakfast you will be seated in a private vehicle and drive to Sundarijal. On reaching your destination the 5 hour trek will start. You can find steep stone staircases, long, steep inclines along the way along with breathtaking panoramic views of Langtang from Chisapani.

As the day ends with beautiful sunset view from Chisapani over the Langtang mountain range. The highlights of the trek will be the Shivapuri National Park, houses perched on the hillside and terraced rice fields. You will be accommodated in a basic teahouse.

The next morning after breakfast, our guide will take you to trekking in Kutumsang where you will find gentle inclines on the way, along with some rocky tracks, and steady descents. On reaching Kutumsang you will find the breathtaking view of the mountains of the Langtang range.

Seeing the traditional people of the mountain practicing time honored traditions and customs will give you an experience of the culture of the Kutumsang. Later on, as you walk further yoy will see the villages of Pati Bhanjyang and Gul Bhanjyang. You will be accommodated in a basic teahouse.

After an early morning breakfast you will walk to a ridgeline path where you will be walking along the forest trails. You can find some steep inclines on the way. After trekking to the top of the ridge you can get a full view of the Langtang valley region along with Gosainkunda lakes. The spectacular views from Magen Goth will surely captivate your hearts. From Magen Goth when you reach the local farmlands you can sit down for a while and take in the view of the local Yaks grazing these lands. You will be accommodated in a basic teahouse.

A descent down a ravine, a suspension bridge and a long climb up the valley. Once you reach the top of the valley you will get to see the breathtaking view of the river valley. The highlighting experience here will be crossing the Malenchi Khola River on an impressive suspension bridge loaded with prayer flags. You will get to see the traditional village of Malenchigaon and some small Buddhist monestaries. Stay in basic teahouse.

The terrain here will be gentle descents, well-defined trekking trails hence, you will find less difficuly in trekking. Some magnificent views of the snow-capped peaks of Langtang can be seen from Sermathang.The local fruit grown in this region are apples. Our guide will take you on a tour of tasting the local apples. You can experience roaming in the beautiful apple orchards along with trailing in the thick Rhododendron forests. After the day’s trek, you will be taken back to rest in basic teahouse.

On the way to Melamchi you will find some steep descents, stone staircases, forest paths. The snow-capped peaks of the Langtang range will be the highlights of this trek where you can click pictures. After visiting local villages and houses, some small Buddhist monasteries, you will be driven to Kathmandu with our tour guide to rest in a hotel. Dinner and early morning breakfast will be provided.

Today after having breakfast, you will visit the Kathmandu Valley in private vehicle. You will have lunch and visit UNESCO Heritage site in Kathmandu Valley like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath Temple, Swyambhunath (Monkey Temple), etc. Our guide will explain about the history, culture, etc. about the places you visit. At the same time you can visit to Thamel shop for some last minutes shopping. Overnight stay at Kathmandu Hotel.
