Mr. Rabin Basnet is a seasoned entrepreneur and tourism professional with over two decades of dedicated experience in Nepal’s tourism and hospitality industry. He has been serving as the Director of Top of the World Adventure Pvt. Ltd. since its establishment, playing a pivotal role in promoting adventure and cultural tourism in Nepal.
From 2010 to 2023, Mr. Basnet successfully operated the Buddha Garden Hotel in Thamel, establishing it as a trusted name among international and domestic travelers.
Expanding his business portfolio, he now owns and operates multiple commercial outlets at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). His ventures at the airport include:
• Airport Enterprises, under which he manages a range of businesses
• Official Nepal Telecom Sales Counter at the airport through Airport Enterprises
• Two money exchange counters in the international arrival terminal
• A Himalayan Java Coffee outlet at the airport
• Franchise outlets of Burger House and Crunchy Fried Chicken in the airport arrival area
• A coffee and gift shop located in the international departure terminal, operated under his company Saan Enterprises
Mr. Basnet is a committed job creator, currently providing employment to over 200 staff members across his various businesses. In pursuit of business excellence and innovation, he has traveled to over 20 countries across Asia, Europe, and Canada to gain insights and expertise in the fields of tourism, hospitality, and airport retail operations.
