We had an incredible time on the Tamang Heritage Trek with our guide Bishnu and our porter Nibhesh. We weren't sure which company we were going to trek with upon arrival in Kathmandu, but while walking in the Thamel district we stumbled across their shop, and they had a sign outside with a long list of possible treks that were affordably priced. We decided to talk to them and within half an hour had a customized trek at a price that was reasonable. From then on everything went smoothly - meals, tea and tea houses were all arranged for us, and our guide/porter addressed any concerns we had professionally the entire time. They also gave us a nice history of the region as we walked, as well as during our meals. We cannot recommend this company, our guide and porter, or this particular trek enough!

I booked the Annapurna Circuit and Annapurna Base Camp treks with Top of the World as they were the first travel agent I saw after landing at Kathmandu airport. As they have to pay rent at the airport, their prices are a bit higher than I could find at other places, but still affordable. They were able to organise a guide and itinerary for my 20 day trip only 2 days before starting. My guide Santosh was a funny, talkative guy who spoke English very well. He was definitely more loud and outspoken than other guides I met but this certainly wasn't a bad thing, and we were able to maintain conversation throughout the trek. He was very clear about our itinerary and was open to changing it depending on my suggestions and concerns. He was very careful about acclimatisation and constantly checked in with me to see how I was feeling. I especially liked that he taught me some Nepali. Overall I can recommend Top of the World Adventure, and my guide Santosh. I would travel with them again.

We had an excellent time hiking to Poon Hill. We had talked to several other agencies about doing a 3-day trek, and they had all said no. We happened upon Top of the World by accident, and they made it happen! Our guide, Raju was friendly, helpful and professional. He took care of everything and made sure that we had clean rooms and warm food in a timely manner. We were very happy that we found them, and would recommend them to anyone hoping to do a trek in the Annapurna National Park.

Honest straightforward. I had back issues the first day. Waited patiently for me to recover. It was worthwhile. Very beautiful nature. I did lots of one-day hikes but never 5-day trekking. Thank you for your kindness and funny company

I arrived in Nepal wanting to do a trek, but having little knowledge or information on what to do given my limited time in the country. I was quite happy then when Top of the World Adventure helped me find the right one for me--providing free info, then upon selecting the Mardi Himal BC trek, helped me with sourcing all the necessary gear (as I had brought none from home), getting all necessary permits, and booking ahead accommodations. This took a lot of stress off me in the planning process and allowed me to simply hop on the bus to Pokhara. The real joy of the trip was my amazing guide, Ram: an incredibly experienced guide of 14 years, and one of the nicest people I have ever met. Ram was always ready with information to share at every stage of the trek and knew just about everyone we passed along the way or met in the accommodations, adding an extra personal touch everywhere we were. He understood my pacing--sometimes better than I did; he motivated me on the more difficult days when I was lacking sleep, and always had snacks to provide and knew exactly how much longer it would be to the next rest stop. Originally, the hike was going to be five days, but with my pace, we managed to complete it in four and were able to adjust the itinerary accordingly with no stress needed on my part. Overall, I could not recommend both Ram as a guide and Top of the World for any activities in Nepal. I cannot wait to be back!

We spent 3 weeks in Nepal. No activity was arranged before we landed because we wanted to keep it loose and check options and prices around. Janardan (the owner) offered us the multiple options and flexibility that we love, letting us choose what to include and what not to include. We did Gorepani-Poonhill in 5 days and everything was as arranged. The guide was always looking after us and paying attention to details which was most appreciated as my wife was pregnant and needed extra care :) During the 3 weeks, of course, there were things to adjust and change. Janardan was always reachable via WhatsApp and sorted things out for us quickly and diligently.

We are a couple of 63 and 59 years old and booked a trekking with Top of the world . It has been a wonderful experience. All the details to make a 5 day’s trekking were perfect. The guest house booked each day were as they told us ( you have all the necessities covered . This was our first trekking in Nepal and “Top of the world “ help us to choose the best one for our possibilities, Apart of all this we have to talk about our guide SOM TAMANG, What a great guide they gave us.Thanx to him we could reach the top of Poon Hill (3300m). From the beginning he marked the rhythm that we had to take in order not to exhaust ourselves by the altitude. He was looking out for us and we felt very comfortable where we were going. He is a very nice and kind person We feel very happy with this fantastic trip

The agency provided very good service. The nepal is very helpful and nice person of the agency because he provided nice guide with me. His name is Mr. Anjan (crazy coco) he was really a great personality, nice language to understand, and he has lot of information of so many place. If anyone need to guide just ask him he was really nice and cool person in the agency. It was really nice memory for my life experience... Highly recomand the guide Anjan.... We wi will see our future Anjan.....
