Top Of The World wishes Carlos Soria Success on his Manaslu Expedition

Since 2021, I have been participating in the largest Spanish travel expo at IFEMA MADRID,FITUR EVENT . This year 2025, Top Of The World Adventure had honor of meeting the legendary Spanish Alpinist Mr Carlo Soria .When i met Soria at Fitur i was amazed by his enery dispite of his age.At 86 years old, Carlos  Soria continues to inspire the world with his determination, discipline, and passion for the Himalayas.

This season, Carlos embarks on his next remarkable challenge: the ascent of Manaslu (8,163 m), the eighth-highest mountain in the world. This Expedition is  the 50th anniversary of the first Spanish expedition to an eight-thousander in 1975, in which Carlos himself participated.

 In 2010 he climbed Manaslu Mountain without supplemental oxygen. Carlos  Soria demonstrates once again that age is no barrier when coupled with  Phisical fitness, dedication and mental strength Despite setbacks including past injuries and the lack of major sponsors , Carlos continues to move forward with an unshakable spirit.
